IMMIGRATION JUSTICE:

Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights’ 2025 platform:

  • Block barring children without documents from public education

  • Bridge current needs for immigrant services

  • Build for the future by securing progressive revenue sources

LGBTQ+ JUSTICE:

Equality for Every Family Act (HB2683 / SB2507) – Ensure legal parentage equality for all families and support LGBTQ+ rights.

Keeping Sex Workers Safe Act (HB3518 / SB2391) – Establish a Sex Workers Bill of Rights, codify law enforcement, and remove criminal penalties, records and employment barriers. It will NOT remove penalties for abuse or trafficking.

 

CLIMATE JUSTICE:

Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act (CRGA) – Accelerate the path to 100% renewable energy by removing transmission barriers and reducing demand to maximize energy efficiency.

Clean and Equitable Transportation Act (CETA) – Prioritize infrastructure spending that will reduce emissions, increase safe, affordable transportation, and create good jobs. Reform Chicago metro transit to increase funding, equity and accessibility as well as reduce overlapping transit systems.

 

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE:

Support the FAIR Act – Establish a fully-funded and independent public defender system across the state.

Elder Parole – Give incarcerated seniors a chance to apply for early release.

Clean Slate – Automatically expunge and seal records for re-entry support.
